On November 7, 2025, WP4 and WP5 co-hosted an event titled “States’ Practice of Human Rights Justification: COVID-19 & Migration—Project Highlights and Roundtable.” The session highlighted some findings from both teams’ research on how states use human rights justification in the context of COVID-19 and migration. Scholars and NGO representatives from Taiwan and Sweden, many of whom were part of both teams’ Civil Society Engagement process, joined as panelists.
