On 20 May, a cross-faculty and cross-sectoral preparatory seminar was organised in advance of the upcoming Global Child and Adolescent Health Round Table & Conference, scheduled to take place on 9–10 October 2025 at Jonsered Manor.
The seminar gathered participants to begin shaping discussions and perspectives ahead of the conference, creating space for dialogue across academic fields and professional sectors working with issues affecting children and adolescents. The meeting centred on the theme “The Convention on the Rights of the Child – From Promises to Real Change?”, inviting reflection on how commitments to children’s rights are translated into practical outcomes.
The preparatory discussions marked an important first step toward the October gathering, helping frame the questions and priorities that will guide continued conversations on child and adolescent health and rights in the months ahead.
