On the 6th of December 2024, The Nordic Rule of Law Forum was co hosted between HRJust and Civil Rights Defenders addressing in Stockholm.
The Nordic Rule of Law Forum is hosted as the national annual Human Right Event in the Nordics where the Vice President of the European Court of Human Rights Justice Arnfinn Bårdsen was an appreciated panelist and the Keynote Speaker Professor and former Chief Justice of the Taiwanese Constitutional Court Tzong-Li Hsu held an informative and by everyone attending very appreciated keynote on the topic of the tension between democracy and fundamental rights, especially in the context of external threats.

We were honored to have  Professor Vasyl Kostytsky, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, one of the authors of the liberal democratic constitution of Ukraine share his reflections on liberal democracy and human rights in war time. During the Conference, researchers from WP2, WP4 and WP5 presented their findings on Human Rights Justifications to cross-sector human rights defenders, academics, policymakers, judges, politicians, legal practitioners, stakeholders and members of civil society.
